1.
What is the primary benefit of using Visi-Floor?
Saves labor…less fronting, easier
inventory count, more organized, better
product presentation.
2.
Will I lose space on the shelf?
As long as there is extra space on the uprights
above the top shelf, you generally will
not lose vertical space. You may even gain
some. You may lose minimal space horizontally
to accommodate the dividers.
3.
How do you keep product from falling out
the back when front loading?
There is an optional backstop you can insert
at the back to contain product. The backstop
is also able to be inserted closer to the
front of the floor in case you want to limit
product on the shelf.
4.
Do I need any special tools to install Visi-Floor?
Yes, in a cold serve installation, you need
a utility knife. In dry shelf installation
you will need a utility knife and possibly
a screwdriver to install the optional front
metal support bar.
5.
Will my products be visible?
Yes, both front lips and the tall dividers
are clear.
6. Can you
use heavy products on the Floor system?
Yes, the floor can accommodate gallon products
like milk, windshield washer fluid and large
detergent bottles.
7.
Does Visi-Floor work next to Visibility
Slides?
Yes, they can work together side by side
but they cannot attach to each other.
8.
Is it permanent? How long will it last?
Can I remove it from the shelf if I want
to?
It is considered permanent but you may remove
it from the shelf. It will last for years.
Visibility Slides have already lasted 5
years in the market.
9.
Can it be expanded if my product line increases?
Yes, the floor has endless width capacity
and can go as deep as needed by locking
successive Visi-Floors together front to
back.
10.
What do I do if my shelf doesn’t angle?
You have three options:
-- We have optional brackets that you may
purchase to angle your flat shelf
-- We can supply you with a plastic wedge
system to angle the floor on top of a flat
shelf
-- We can supply an angled shelf

21.
How many different parts do I need to make
the shelf function?
For cold serve, you need four or five parts:
a floor that fits the designated area, the
proper front lip, the proper divider or
dividers (standard or "T") and
a back stop (if needed). For warm serve,
you need five or six parts: a floor that
fits the designated area, an optional tall
front lip, the proper divider or dividers
(standard or "T"), a back stop
(if needed) and a front metal support bar
(for heavier products) complete with pushpins
and/or nut & bolt sets.
22.

27.
Are there products that don’t work
on Visi-Floor? Yes, products in styrofoam (egg containers) or stretch-wrapped (meat, poultry).
28.
How will I be billed?
You will be billed from New York under the
Trade Fixtures name. You will pay normally
to A/R at Trade Fixtures.
29.
How does Visi-Floor compare with other gravity
feed systems?
Other systems are based on components that
are affixed directly to the metal shelf
and have limited load capacity. Visi-Floor
is based on a strong grid construction with
an integrated front lip giving far greater
structural integrity that can withstand
the weight of heavy products.
30.
Do slanted products suffer poor visibility
and sales?
Beverage and hosiery categories have been
successfully gravity fed for years.
31.
If the bottom shelf is slanted, will visibility
of products be especially poor?
No! The bottom shelf is one of the most
important to gravity feed. After the first
unit sells on a flat shelf, you won't see
the product at all.
